Thanks yea that's what I've been doing but I run on rocky stoney surfaces and my velcro on pullstart cover is getting ripped to shreds with all the stones etc :-(

Will try and screw it on as well and see if it holds

Thanks

easy fix is run without the guard mate (y),
especially if yer running mostly in the dry, all thats gonna happen is a few dings n scratches on the engine plate,
if you really wanna run the guard then add extra fitting (y)
It won't come off now, drilled and riveted on :)

How you going to remove the engine now?

Simple when I do need it off I will just drill the rivets out and rivet it again :)

Maybe not the best idea for racers that remove the engine alot but for me bashing once every 2 weeks or so I don't remove the engine much.... well actually I have never removed it lol

same stuff with side body panels, now im just driving without them.
for chasiss protector theres trick: imo it will get ripped because of those two pointy "teeth" , the most front part of it.
I made sure to bend it upward as much as possible, no issues then. But also bought two of those protectors in one order for the future.
so far it holds my abuse :)
