I’ve moved the build further forward now I’ve got some motivation. I’ve finished the motor and installed it.



I decided on the BZM pipe. It’s twice the size of the Titanium one which I think is designed for 30.5cc max. Problem is I don’t think it will fit the TSK b cage. Oh we’ll see, if it doesn’t it’ll be turning into a buggy for now.




I used a universal Vertigo clutch housing and a HPI HD bell holder. Vertigo bell with 19t pinion.

Yes I bought them already but haven't shipped yet so I'm hoping to catch it in time. If not, Reps got more work coming, just be a little extra wait. I do like raw but wanna accent it against rcmax raw and bonehead carbon.

Thanks a lot guys. I wish I had more time, but I feel the most fiddly bits are done now.

I’m glad I remembered the ball thing for the quick release throttle linkage. I put one on the rig once when the engine was fitted. It would have been quicker to just take engine out. Remember for the future if your reading this.

I use magnetic tip tool to assist me with that tiny nut and lock washer set, that is a PITA even on the vekta.

I know I could have whipped the carb off, but when you’ve got everything perfectly sealed and loctited down the last thing I want to do is tear it down.

I'm the same way.. refuse to go backwards but that silly little thing takes a while..I hope you loctited it, they definitely need it even with the little lock washers, and the rod should be loctited as well, it likes to unscrew from the alloy end and messes the throttle linkage settings and will cause it to break the ball end off the linkage on the carb. It happened to mine.

Yea the js tank doesn't fit much honestly with certain engine combo's. I've messaged js telling him along many others about making a v2 tank and he doesn't seem to care. Just like he doesn't care my JS box for my raminator Is messed up and seems to not care.

Yep I've owned 2 of his boxes, the billet and plastic ones and both are f&$cking garbage. Plastic one all the solder joints fell apart, this billet one all 4 lid mounting holes the screw holes are not threaded correctly
