The problem with a reed motor in the 30 DN buggy , is fitting it all in .
OK ,so I went with ate SCZ which is bulky , but it is a bit of a struggle to get it fitted.
I couldn't live with the throttle rod , so had to modify the servo location , not too happy with the standard brake/throttle servo setup anyway. Just got the filter setup to fit under the shell.
I used big countersunk alloy washers for the engine hold down bolts to make gear mesh easy and put a 21t pinion on to avoid drive shaft / fan cover clearance issues.
It can all be done with a bit of effort , and I am well happy with it now.
I will try a Taylor 35 reed in there at some point.
