Basher pipe that fits under body

Here is a pipe I am working on that is a one off, custom build. It is a basher pipe made to be rugged and tuff with low end power and quieter than most performance pipes.

Looks pretty cool! I have a jet pro on my MT and really like it, however I am a little concerned about if it will hold up to a nasty crash! I actually like that it exits outside the body, stays cooler and cleaner!

Will the rear body nount posts need some protection from the heat?

My body mounts will go aluminum before the truck is tested. I do suspect that either yes the will suffer from heat or cut a slit in body and bend it up for little air.


Unfortunately this pipe will not be duplicated. I had the big spun aluminum tube around, and I don't have a source for more.

Pipe Damage control

My cage will allow the use of nerf bars. I put the mounts on all cages. This might help protect your pipe investment.

The header pipe and flages will be standard, This particular expansion tube was fabbed out of some aircraft intake tubes that were scrapped, not able to get enough supply of them to make a run of them. I am working on the something little different to produce though.

It was a experiment and I am not able to produce them for not the same pieces of aluminum available. I am working on several other pipe mods check my posts, and keep checking because will post some more pics of different design of the week pipe mod soon.
