Already have a Losi 5T 2.0, DBXL 2.0, and Baja all gas. Have the itch for another basher. I’m not extremely hard on my rigs but not running a groomed race course either. Looking for opinions on Vesla or W5 for bashing.

I have both

You ever seen either? They are not comparable.

Kraken needs more weight added than it to make it better. That being said the Vesla is cool, but So many corners were cut when building the Vesla, engine is garbage radius is strait trash. Servos are questionable.
Depending on your budget, Vesla will be way cheaper. $2138 cad

McD is a race winning company. If you by an ultimate it has everything Possible on it already.
McD can easily be converted from a xr5 to a w5 to a rr5. With a kit McD sells.
You’ll need an engine, servos, radio they only come as rollers with a pipe. 3 budget levels
All Canadian prices for w5

I Like that hobby room clean. With wood floors nice. Well in my opinion if you have a baja I don't see the point of a Vesla but adding a Mcd is like adding a Ferrari to the collection

Some good points here. I haven’t seen either in person, probably not an option in my area.

If the Vesla motor and electronics need replaced, then price ends up being the same as the W5 Pro.

Parts for an MCD are a concern as nothing available in the USA and only 1 place in Canada.

However, MCD reputation for quality wins. Is it a safe assumption that the MCD is also more “durable” than the Vesla?
 
McD is the cream of the crop best if the best. Fit and finish is as good as it gets. The sight of one will make the hair on your back stand up.
The thing about kraken is they could have done better. But they didn’t. It’s not worth what they are selling it for!
