Does anyone have a method for removing bearings from alloy uprights? I have to replace every bearing in my ride, and I am hoping they're not a press-fit, though it looks as though they might very well be. I haven't attempted to remove them by beating on them, yet, wanted to see if any of you had experience with it.

If it is in a place you can heat, get a heat gun and heat the aluminum and the bearing will easily come out, heating aluminum expands it.

This is true, but I'd need at least something like a propane torch, and I'm afraid that is not an option for me. Maybe I could put them in the oven...
