Hi all

My FG Baja has not been used for a while and is in need of a strip down and refurb which I am planning on doing this week.

Got together with a couple of mates who have on road touring cars and we have been running them in carparks for the past few weeks.

My Baja is pretty standard with the addition of front cable brakes and the rear tuning brake, tuned pipe and standard shocks.

So I wanted to freshen it all up and get a good setup for off road bashing as well as on road carpark running with regards to the suspension and handling.

No hardore racing going on so it dos'nt have to be a really detailed setup but just a good compromise for running on both surfaces.

Would i be better off changing the shocks for a set of adjustable alloy ones?

Also I have an adjustable FG diff I bought a while ago off Ebay which I wanted to install to improve the drivability on road..I have noticed on my mates onroad FG Porsche that it spins away the power on the unloaded wheel as he has the standard diff installed...would the adjustable item be a good addition or am I wasting my time?!

All help appriciated!

Cheers.

Baja is near identical to Marder.
If you cannot find it mentioned previously as Baja, check out Marder.
I'm sure there are loads of opinions on this.
A lot depends on WHERE you're running.
How smooth is the on-road?
How rough is the off-road?

Al.

nothing wrong with having a pretty standard plastic car

adjustable 20mm alloy FG shocks would help

adjustable diff on road is fine off road pretty much a waste of time

i think i need to upgrade a few of my cars:lol::lol:
