Greetings!

I am wondering what the best affordable 1/5 scale RC vehicle is that can be modified to carry heavy weight. Ideally, it would use a copious amount of aluminum in the chassis and suspension.

Thanks!

About 20kg max.
Probably not what your going for, but here is a video where Kevin Talbot sits on an Axial SCX6 and rides it. Not sure if any "affordable" 1/5 scale would really suit your needs. Sounds like you need one of those golf robots.
I'm not sure exactly how far you are driving with that much weight, but I tried the Kraken heavy duty springs on my Vesla. They were so stiff that I could set 2x 25lb weights on top and it did not compress my shocks all the way.
Vesla 50lb.webp

I've seen people riding an Xmaxx as well!

The Kraken looks to handle the weight well.
