thought id post thread on my bmw csl bodyshell this came from ebay as a used but great nick shell first up I remved stickers then it got rubbed down with some wet & dry,etch primed and painted in auto air pearlized blue and clear coated, with silver for the trim

all paints are just automotive rattle cans apart from the auto air blue which is a water based airbrush paint

it still needs more clear coat and polishing but it looks great and has given a old shell a new life on a budget

Nice job Barry :cool2: I have a small job in Brentwood starting in August so will pop over for a bash and have a proper look at it. Hopefully the weather will be kind :rolleyes:
 
yeah keith its on the outside mate the etch primer sticks good lol

sounds good dwarfy look forward to seeing the 4wd stevo bug going
