What’s up y’all had this piece of poop for a year or so now and after a long time it’s finally ready for it’s first break in. Don’t really remember what’s in it, but it’s mostly stock with some bonehead, blackbone, Taylor rc, mcd bits and my go to electronics . Hoping to get it out Sunday for a shakedown run.

50* tomorrow so we are having our first off road meet up in a long time

Took the rig out for it’s maiden voyage and overall I’m very happy with the setup. The mcd shocks are amazing and offer a ton of stability. I had some issues though and will be replacing the front hubs to clipless, titanium lay shaft and a better servo saver setup.

Hostile makes a set that uses stock hpi toe inserts.

Had the Baja out yesterday after making some major modifications and this thing is a serious weapon now.

It’s now running 8.5kg springs in front, 14kg springs in rear.

Hpi sway bars with black springs all around.

Hostile spur 17/57

Hormann medium compound tires.

Turned down the exponential to -20% to help take out some of the torque when coming out of the turn.

By far the most nimble and well handling Baja I’ve ever come across

Finally got around to putting some new parts on the Baja. Goal is to shave weight and make it easier to work with. So that means titanium and removing c clips.. got the rear done tonight and hoping to attack the front end tomorrow. I also want to reposition the front shocks to get slightly better suspension travel

Got the front end complete. Put the lower shock mount in a new position and shaved the arms. Cut the front axle extenders to remove the clips and installed the Taylor titanium hinge pins. It should be dialed now I think I need to adjust the wheels to 1* toe out and it should be ready to go
