First things first. Pam ain’t winning no beauty contests but she’s a naughty female dog🤣🤣🤣 it’s the exact clone of my w5, Bartolone 32, mod killswitch, mod clutch, hitec throttle servo spektrum steering no servo blah blah blah. She broke an a arm while battling for first on Sunday so she needs a bit of tlc. I have the front and center lsd coming from cardinal racing and expecting it to be a huge upgrade. Need to make some crud guards for the rear arms. The amount of dirt buildup here is no bueno.2E44F703-2AAF-455D-B3A5-26B73ADE99DB.jpegD1368F43-071D-4261-9CD8-02CA588CD391.jpeg48BC98A2-AE06-4B88-B94D-1C04566A1FCE.jpegE9163DCA-FB3C-43CA-8228-C5E9D3B5A738.jpegB08DDE63-8D55-40F4-A2E6-7062D17A166F.jpeg5936A16C-F946-47D7-A120-19B79DEAFC92.jpegDEDB17FF-B20F-4EB0-BD18-4EA1CE8A94CB.jpeg

seem like you need my extra set of arm :ROFLMAO:

Check um out Sunday. Doubt you'll get a set in by then anyhow. I've never been a fan of the velcro socks. The only point that let's dirt in on the FF is that bottom notch in the losi spring retainer otherwise full protection. $20 a set so if you tare um bad ain't a biggie replacing.

If you do decide you wanna get them, I'm not sure if they make um for MCD but we can measure diameter of your springs and compare to my baja and losi set to see what would fit best. (y)

Outerwears pm my losi and baja basher last a long long time
Not a huge fan of outerwears for shocks🤔

Anywhooooooo. Got Pam douched down and baking in a light grease bath and while I was giving her a look down I found a broken camber link. Had her available at Bobby’s hobbies so I chucked a new one on. This is why I am a huge advocate of cleaning your rig after every run. I would have never found this if it had a layer of dirt on it. Now I just gotta clean the air filters and wait for parts. It’s gonna be tight getting her ready for Sunday’s points race but I’ll try my best8DA8C7D1-BB9F-4263-8156-D6F6AE3A257F.jpeg0FB025D9-6F9E-4E2E-8791-AC70C215F631.jpeg2323B2C8-EAF7-4F83-B7C8-3AF8851DC4AC.jpeg48C0A641-4CC8-4C02-A1A1-10BD964F8A21.jpeg29F05371-B5F5-4DBF-B1A6-A2B7B631750D.jpeg

spray everything down with simple green. hose it down with water on a mist setting (it's important not to have a super-strong jet pushing water everywhere.) then dry everything off with an air compressor and spray the whole thing down with wd40 in a mist bottle. hit it with the compressor again making sure to open the electronics areas and hit that area with air as well. leave it in the sun for a few hours.
Saw you asking Dean for cvd guards
Make your own👍🏻 ......my m8 had a set of bh and they lasted one session and they shattered 😪View attachment 75918View attachment 75919
bought 2 sets from cardinal yesterday
Got everything ready to go in case the parts don’t arrive from cardinal racing in time.69338853-08BD-48D4-BF88-CBE27B6C706F.jpeg663DE28F-3013-4CF7-8ECF-1445BC666230.jpeg

Yea I wanna try something else besides wd40 and simple green. The rig feels too greasy after. And I think the simple green is pulling too many oils out of the rubbers and plastics. Was thinking of using this stuff.

Try using simple green and just regular silicone spray (just pick some up somewhere) the silicone spray should dry and leave a drier surface that repels dirt instead of attracting like wd40
