bottoming out?????

can you guys give me some ideas on how to prevent bottoming out.are do i have to just go and burn 1600$ on a losi 5t

Take the cap off the top of your shocks. Most of the time there not full and need some oil added. Thicker oil will also really stiffen things up.

Adjust the pre-load rings. If that doesn't help, add some fuel line to the shock shaft to limit the travel a bit.

I don't think they make any rc that doesn't bottom out, they all do. that's where the term "chassis slap" comes from........

That's just simple tuning. Adjusting the preload on the springs and adding heavier oil will fix it.
