brake pad help please

hello

im looking for a bit of help

a friend has just got a 1/5 touring car and we think its a FG Sportsline, correct me if im wrong please.

also it has these front brakes

but 1 of the pads are broke so we need to get some more.

any help will be appreciated ie;. make of brakes and part numbers and even some where i could get some new pads

I've just had a quick look for 9441 as sharkeys said...you're gonna need to sell your house for new pads!

surely theres somewhere cheaper...

edit: just looked at the pics, is it in one piece? can it be reattached? are they on with adhesive or something else? I've epoxied my pads on an old set of kpd's, though haven't tried them yet.. :blush: no idea if it'll be any good!

thats why there was loads of cheep sets on ebay at one point then :lol:

bloody hell, i could do my 1/1 car for cheaper.
£40 - £50 is a lot especially as we only need the 1 pad and its too corroded to glue.

oh well thanks anyway lads ;)
 
you never know, you might be extremely lucky and find a set on ebay at some point not properly named etc.. just be quick, as by the sounds of it another 100,000 people will be after 'em :p

failing that, use the car behind :D

I wonder if you could use a set of kpd pads and epoxy 'em onto the backplate.

I think you have to go direct for them but they're peanuts if i remember right..



might be worth a look, or someone could tell you the dimensions see if they're roughly the same?

edit; their website not about anymore by the looks of it :(
