Hi guys,

today im doing the break in, but i have a doubt. I have the losi pipe for the dbxl.

Do you recomend to do the break in with the stock one, or with the losi tuned pipe?

Also, if doing it with the tuned pipe, will i have to adjust the needles? or leave it as recomended at 1 1/2 and 1 1/4?

Doesn't matter really, unless you wish to sell the old muffler as a like new takeoff, never ran. You have to adjust mixture screws slightly when tuning for power, but break in will be the same on the rich side with stock settings with either pipe, basically. I would break in with the tuned pipe from the word go.

Yes I break mine in with the tuned pipe. But many do suggest to break in with the stock pipe because they say the rings will seat faster. But I have never had any problem with breaking mine in with the tuned pipe.

After break in, installed the losi tuned pipe, but is not just bolting and forget.

The welding gets in the way when trying to tie the nuts and washers, so you have to dremmel or trim it.

You have to do this to properly tie them and fix properly the pipe to the motor.

I always done the break in procedure with the pipe I bought to match the mill.More or less back pressure,so use the pipe you intend to run with if that makes any sense?
