Broken shock shaft

The shaft broke at the bottom where it meets the ball end in the lower arm, what is the best way to remove the section of shaft still in the ball end? If i get the PhatDad Rear Shock Shaft Kit from Rob i still have to re-use the end thats goes into the arm right? Any help would be great. Oh, i had Sprint77 mod a header for the RD Logics pipe, way better than the gutted can, i should have got the DOM..... I'll post pics later.

Dremel with cut off wheel ,cut a slot in it, then take it out with a screw driver

Its broken in the ball end a little, if i try to dremel it out, i might ruin the end that i need. I'll get some pics up in a little while.

Mine was the same, make the cut as small as you can. Thats how we all do it.

I use the smallest drill bit in my case and drill a hole in the center. Then stick an small allen wrench in it. I forget what the size is. I'm too lazy to get up and check. Just use the smallest u got.
