Cage flex at rear shock mounts

I got a good deal on a full cage and am currently converting my XB to a Chimera. One thing I noticed is that the cage really flexes alot when the rear suspension is compressed. Is this normal?
 
Not that I can remember - no. It was plenty stiff.

Look at the chimera manual - It connects to the rear frame brace with part 07415 and 07426 to the chassis braces.

Eventually you will want to get the 7075 rear tower anyway, its a far superior mounting solution for the rear shocks.
