I bought a used rampage with DX4C and it worked well.....i tore the whole thing apart to clean and make it my own style and now, back together, it seems the electronics fail shortly after running. They work fine on the stand by do not after starting. I have re bind the reciever and all new batteries but no help. I even put in a different setup ( dromida ) and it started acting the same shortly after running. Any ideas?

Part of my rework included an aluminum cage, im wandering if this is aplifying the spark somehow

Could take the cage out and test again? I guess it's just a process of ilimation. When the electronics start playing up, if you kill the engine do they start to work again? Can you give more detail to what you mean by the electronics failing?

They start by not responding and glitch ing a little, and go to no response at all. If I shut the motor off they come back or if the motor is still running and I turn the receiver power off and back on they come back for a couple seconds.

I've got a new ( R ) plug coming and will try removing the cage to see if that helps

This is the plug that I replaced, it's a "torch" brand that has an R rating....but I must have lose the top when I took it apart to clean it. From what I've read, this causes issues. I've put in a new NGK R rated plug along with rubber isolaters in 3 areas where the cage was very near the motor, and everything is good now.
