I can't seem to figure out what is wrong but when I turn the tx and rx on, the steering wheel on the tx doesn't work, the throttle (pulled) works the throttle, the brakes (pushed) turns the wheels to the right and puts on the brakes. ???

Not sure what in the world is going on! I have the steering and throttle plugged into the rx right, so, what gives? anyone...? anyone...?

Futaba 4PK w/604 receiver

Maybe start from scratch and set it up as a new model, or if you set your radio back to default.....I can do it if I had it in my hand, but cant explain it .......sorry.

Not sure how to do that even. This is soo foreign to me!

steering is plugged into ch 1? black to the outside (have to ask, no offense)

check the dual rate to make sure it isn't at zero.

check the end points to make sure they have travel (epa)

Your a "super genius!" thank you! The book says to plug the steering into ch3, so I did what you said and plugged it into ch1 and "Voila!"

Now to setup the failsafe on it, do you know anything about that?

I was told that the 4pk has its own failsafe!

nah I just am not allowed to smoke in the house so sit out here at my computer a lot in the garage and read ;)

my man cave. all my tools, equipment, rc's, guitars and the smoking section hehe

glad you got it sorted. not sure about futaba, but most built in failsafes you put the servo where you want it, and rebind the rx to the radio and it sets there... to test it. have car and radio on, hold full throttle and turn off the radio. see where the servo goes.

Great! cool deal! I got some new parts on it, bigger battery box, the 5755 for steering (took the two originals out), HPI air filter, gas filter, shock covers. I have a whole set of metal gears I would like to put on, I've got the valve grinding compound to loosen up the gears a little.

I have a lot of extra original parts that I am going to post for sale on here, soon!

See ya soon Rob!

Everyone needs their personal space to be alone! Unfortunately My garage is full but I do have a workshop in our mud room which I plan to store and work on the RC's.

I have my guitars (7) and 3 amps in our bedroom. I spend a lot of time out doors working in the yard or garden, it's my personal (alone time) space.

I have a lot of antique tools hanging in the workshop, it's fairly small and gets cluttered real fast! Like right now! HaHa Once I clean it I'll put the RC's in there.

Here are a few pics of some of my guitars.

Gibson Les Paul Custom

SRV Fender Stratocaster

Dean Eighty Eight

Nice guitars dude. I am jealous. I play my acoustic cutaway mostly. it's a cheapo I bought as the garage guitar but I love it. plays awesome and the nicks and scratches from being bounced around in here don't bother me

just learning a tune by Don Ross... tight trite night. so my guitar is tuned down an octave and nothing else I know is played like that haha.
