Carbon SX5 build

I've had this cage for quite some time and figured I'd finally make it into something. Goal here is all black and carbon. Sent my flm arms in to be anodized black, and ordered the uber carbon chassis and bonehead baja kit.

Yea he hasn't been responsive to me either specially considering I sent him a brand new raminator body to do in carbon for me and he's doing a hemistorm body for me in carbon. Shipping sucked

Fcuk him, my carbon build wasn’t exactly how I wanted it because he wouldn’t get back to me. Oh well.

I got a super wicked 2Stroker instead. No regrets.

It's random, he was sending me updated pics of it being done, then bam disappeared. He does it though where he just logs off for quite awhile at a time. But a warning would be cool

Hey John You think you can compare weights of the aluminum chassis and aluminum parts versus the carbon chassis and carbon parts for me when you tear it down? Im thinking about getting the uber carbon chassis and all the bonehead carbon parts and curious about the actual weight savings. Thinking about building a lightweight 5b with a obr reed 34 paired with the rcmax pipe.

the sx5 carbon body looks great. how much does such a thing cost?

I have a carbon kv5tt body ordered as well. Same with me, he fades in and out and isn't quick to reply. I've seen a few color previews of the body he has for your hybrid. Not sure the hold up ‍♂

Anyways, ordered basically everything I think for it today, should be completed by next year

So I'm in a dilemma. The new ALX engine has a bit different mounting pattern than the rest, so I either need to redrill the rck5 chassis or just put it in this baja and the rc50 in the hybrid. What's everyone's thoughts?
