have a carb fitted to an engine i have just bought on ebay
and i'm wondering what it is
it is marked walbro 662 and has a remote primer bulb
would this be an older model than a 603 or meant for an airplane
would it be a better performer than the 603 or just a variation

its a zenoah with a 29cc head and adjustable clutch
fitted in a marder, running a stock can and a 24T - 40T gear combo
bit slow off the mark but catches up with a mates HPI baja running a 29cc zenoah and ddm pipe
gonna swap the can for a samba pipe and change gears to 22T -42T combo
and pop my 603 carb on
that should bring it off the line a bit quicker

I take it it must of been a G230 that someone wanted to put a 29CY head on.
Zenoah does not make a 29cc.
The carb will work it just wont give you the performance the others can.
A pipe will give you more power on any motor!

Interesting gear combo. The stock is a 18/46. Guess your looking for more speed though.

the engine was fitted in a marder
got the whole lot for a really good price
the 24T-40T gears were already fitted as was the 662 carb
taken the 603 off my mutilator and have been given an FG pipe
just need to sort the gears out now
don't know whether to try 20T-44T or 22T-42T........suggestions anyone?
or is it a case of trying each
apart from the 813 is there any other carb that will outperform the 603
and what is the difference between the 603 and the 668
