look at some of my older posts about the recievers. not certan if the photos still are still up. thing is-- if the cat tugged on the antenna wire, it could have broken the solder joints where the wire connects to the recievers printed circut board.- yea, a kill switch is a good thing to have-- but- i bought a new reciever with faulty solder joints- the car worked just fine @close range, just as soon as these joints i am talking about let go- they shorted out the reciever- total loss of control- no steering-throttle- failsafe-kill switch- hauled ass into concrete. soo- i am just saying- the killswitch-fail safe is not 100%-- nothing is-- if the wire breaks in the reciever- --- just saying to save you $$$$$.Dreggsta said:Lol, the cat lives. I have a killer bee on it. I figure as long as the speaker wire I use is equal to or larger than the rx antenna I should be fine. I should leave some wire exposed w/out the insulation correct?
