clip in throttle linkage to carb arm

i had to end up taking the screw out of arm to get carb off, i couldnt get the clip to release off linkage to arm, is there a trick to getting that clip popped off?

its not really a clip, the plastic part just slides down the shaft.

If you grab the connector with some pliers and slide it down the throttle linkage toward the servo, it seperates then the rod can be disconnected from the carb.

thanks will try but seems to be kinda like stuck. still wont budge, afraid to put too much stress for fear of breakin something, i did a mod i read about tho, that will help to reinstall the screww in arm to carb.

i found a spare small allen bolt in my 5t parts, not sure what it is for, but now i used it for this, it matched the threads on the carb shaft but is too long, i found a nut that fit it and put flat washers on it and when all snugged up bolt at end of nut was same length as the original screw, then dremeled the bolt end off at the nut, took all off the bolt and now i got a allen bolt to go back on when i reinstall the carb.

oh, and btw, that screw, when i was taking stuff off was loose, so i will add blue loctite to new bolt upon reinstall.
