I have an opertunity to get a Gen 1 Race Runner for cheep but am going to want to upgrade it to an evo 3. Is this possible?

I know I can buy this kit

And I will need new cvd's on 4 corners and turnbuckles as well due to the wider wheel base.

Is there anything els I would need to order? I am not sure if the centre drive shafts would need replacing as well.

any help would be appreciated.

I guess it all depends on how much you will get the gen 1 for. Add up the chassis cost and the turnbuckles to the price and see how far away in price you are from getting a new or used evo 3
 
The chassis you linked to is out of stock. Just so you know. The EVO3 is the same in the center, but pretty much everything else is different. Even the wheels for an EVO3 are different, The axles are shorter & will not reach through the older MCD wheels without modifications.

It's cool to get the version that you want right from the beginning, i used to always get the older version or the basic version and was always mission something to me. Now i wait and get the one i want, even if it means turning to prostitution..LOL
