correct plug gap

hi all in my fg beetle has got champion rz7c spark plug in it and the gap looks massive and was wondering if any1 knew the correct fila gauge gap and is this a good plug to use compared to ngk ?

I don't think I have ever read about the plug gap on here!!

I have my NGK's gaped at .025" or .635mm

My Grandpa worked at Champion for 30+ years, but I won't run them in anything!! I've more than one set of plugs with a loose center electrode.

I use these.. CMR7H or the Iridium CR7HIX

 

[Bigger the Better]

The gap for a cmr7h is 0.65mm.

I also use the cmr7h and always have.

Standard = CMR7H
Option(For Race) = CR8HVX with Terminal Nut
Option(Hot Type) = CMR6H
