Ok it has been proven that the 85cc is not intended for an RC? but this will happen.

Alloy rear shock upright supports installed

Tried to fit the engine on the rc modified rear chassis

It was hitting the tank and rear support

Messaged Alex at ALX and he told me to use his chassis because it moves the rear back 5mm for clearance or i would have to mod the front chassis to make it work. Sooo on to the alx chassis it was?

Also the rear bonehead plate I had didn't fit either. Lucky for me I had the correct bonehead kit from my 71cc buy??

Even after moving the engine back 5mm it was still hitting the rear front chassis support. Time to breakout the dremmel

Steering servo to bellcrank turnbuckle is not playing nice with the hitec 845? I will have to come up with something for this one or back to Savox or Hilantronic.

How bout that @Haric ? Something you think you could do?
@Haric needs to make negative offset servo horn for this application ?
I don’t know how to cut the internal gears if I did make themD6CDF34A-A548-47FA-8511-4F2DC3B28E99.jpeg
@crucialRC but looking at your pic, you can modify that servo horn to make it work. You will need to cut that piece off the servo horn and attach a negative piece, or mill it to make it thinner, or get a thinner servo horn

The horn itself needs to be over the gear part an not offset ,set screw in horn!

Awesome work Crucial!....(y)
I agree Curtis but I haven't found anything like that for sale. Thanks too??
Get a thinner servo horn
Or what if you flip the servo horn? ??‍♂️
All good Haric. I'm gonna try the thinner horn like you suggest. I have a few on deck. I'm gonna try this one. It should at least help. 20201025_130306.jpg

To bad that servo couldnt be pushed back a little ,maybe a different batt & rec box can be redesigned were you can
seperate the two an not be attach to each other!
