Hes correct. Its philips and square drive in one screw. A no.3 Phillips works, or just a square drive, or the special bit thats kinda like a no.3 Phillips just with a more pronounced square tip. They're quite common.

Why would I have another 26-27-29 engine? I still can't believe I have one. Some guys at the drag spot have 30.5cc's so I will see where it sits among them.

I think you will come to appreciate it when going around the track. Its a completely different animal and lots of fun pushing the car as hard as you can without crashing. I love it.

Did a mockup of the engine in its final resting spot while waiting for the outerwears to deliver tomorrow.

Engine attached to the top removable engine plate.

The 3 black brackets on the chassis are what aligns the plate and enable it to move back and forth to get the gear mesh right. The anchor looking bracket sets the gear mesh for the pinion/spur choice.

Found a wide enough double servo horn to line up the linkages with the standard size servo. AHZ 25t offset aluminum horn. https://www.ebay.com/itm/232845442523. I also have a Protek and Hudy straight one coming bit I think this will work.

Came with a RT modified 990 with sealed shaft bearings and upgraded fuel pump diaphragm.

Came with a composite velocity stack but no bolts. Wtf MCD??‍

Fits snug as a bug in a rug. Its looking good.

This is how the engine plate aligns on the chassis brackets. 3 locations.

Had to cut back the engine shroud to allow free movement of the throttle linkage.
