Crud getting into gear box a problem?

Ugh HBF still isn't back up.

Before I tear apart my rear end I better ask here first. Does one have to worry about dirt getting into the gear box, does it have to maintained often? I've only gone through about 2.5-3 tanks.
 
I haven't had any crud in my gear box "yet" but I also replaced that output seal with a bearing.... cause I noticed it was not sealing the greatest there...
 
with the bearing kit your offer, do you give that"ghost bearing":clown: that they show in tha manual....but not in the parts pages?
