Do these work? Based upon a visual looks like a fancy splitter. Any idea how it works? With all the servo talk recently and my recent issues maybe I've been playing with fire the entire time. Do I need to be concerned when only running 2 HV servos? Got a speky s9010 maybe 9020 for throttle and hitec 845 in my dbxl...my tlr 5b has 840 and dual 845s...right in description it states it's for 3 servos..

Any comments or concerns

I have one and yes they work it isn't just a splitter it powers the servos directly from the battery so they aren't being bottleknecked by the Rx

Would you recommend regardless on servo count? I read about over amping the rx definitely not something I would want to do.

Aka should I get one for each rig?

I would definitely recommend getting one if you are using three servos and maybe even two if they are something high torque but it isn't necessary for just two.I would say if your two servos are making the kill switch LED dim then get one.

It's a $20 part. I'll get one for each rig for cheap insurance. I'm sure it won't hurt anything

Cant hurt to have them... somewhere on here I figured out what a reciever can take amperage wise. Theoretically they should be ok, unless you go full bind on a double servo. Then it would be on the bubble. But who wants to take a chance with a $70.00 reciever...

Burnt my receiver and y splitter up in my vekta due to over amperage of 3 hitec servos. I now run the dark soul harness on all my rigs.

I have just purchased one of these for my 5ive T. My reciever box is now so packed out with wires I reckon even damp will have a hard time getting in. Is there a bigger reciever box or add on part that will house all the extra wires? I get the impression that all the wires bunched up like that isn't good for the wires or connectors.

Mine is packed tight too, if I go the twin servo route I plan to relocate some of the mess to the battery box. As my battery doesn't take up all the space there.

I originally thought about relocation to the battery box but didn't like the idea of extension wires going to and from the reciever box. Too many joints that could go wrong. I need a 3D printer ?.

This is what I love about rummaging around here. I had no clue this could be an issue but as I read makes tons of sense!

But who wants to take a chance with a $70.00 reciever...

Not to mention some of us have receivers you can no longer get.
