Keeping my dbxl e cool with castle cooling fans Times 2. So 4 fans total and a 1000mah 50c 7.4 to power them. I got an entire 20 minute battery run without stopping to cool down. Temp was 117.9 at end of run.

Hey as long as it works and keeps you running ? what kind of temps were you getting before? And what gearing are you running? I used castle mamba monster x and a 1515 motor on a savage xl conversion. I had high temp issues running at first and I was told I had the gearing too high. So I dropped down to a smaller pinion and didnt have issues with temps any more.
 
Im using stock gearing and was getting up to 130f if I ran more than about 5 minutes unless I took it easy.
