I am looking to purchase a LOSI DBXLE V2 and have some questions about the battery and charger selection.
SPMX50004S100H5 - 14.8v 100C - Backordered January 2020
SPMX50004S50H5 - 14.8v 50C
S2100 AC Smart Charger
SPMXCA507 - IC5 Device to IC3 Cable - Backordered Late December

I am also looking to upgrade Radio (Spektrum SPM5100 with SR2100 RX).

Questions:

1. Would there be a big advantage in the 100C vs 50c battery on a stock rig?
2. I have the S2100 Charger and then found out that I need the SPMXCA507 cables.
3. What can I expect for run-times using the 14.8V batteries.

Big difference between 50C and 100C. 50C IMO is the bare minimum and they're easy to over discharge under load. They tend to run pretty hot and puff up if you run in grass. Go for the 100C. Try to go for bigger capacity too. A 5000mAH realistically will last you about 10min of actual run time.

And look at other then spektrum batteries, and chargers. gensacearespammers are my go to batteries. You can solder whatever connector on you want to any battery. I personally would get a good twin station charger, I run a I charger 410i for this reason. I'm sure there is newer better stuff out there now. Also on your tx, why not look into futaba? Much better system imo.

Definitely look into other brands if you can. However, there really isn't much out there for capacities over 5000mAH and over 50-60C ratings. Turnigy, HRB, ZOP, Venom, Youme, etc all have lower C ratings around 50-60C and questionable advertised ratings at that.

For higher C ratings you're really only looking at Spektrum, gensacearespammers, Hobbystar and Maxamps.

I just got a V1 for Christmas. Got the powerhobby batteries in the link below and love them. They fit perfectly. First couple of runs were about 25 min but I was babying it. I had an ISDT Q8 charger with an external DC power supply. I have been using them for a while and love it also. I can charge both batteries at the same time in parallel in under an hour or so.

I have an ISDT and they are pretty good chargers but anything from Icharger would be a better choice they make bulletproof chargers.Batteries are a wear and tear item they need to be replaced eventually at least from my experience.gensarespammers is one of the best and there are a few others.I personally use Turnigy in my multirotors and trucks and am planning on trying a few China Hobbyline batteries in the near future. They have had really good reviews in the past and Iow quite a few people that have used them with no issues and they offer some pretty big 120c so even if the ratings are bloated a bit they should still be pretty good.
