Thanks guys. I take it most on here run gassers. I want one, but not sure where I'd run it around here, but I LOVE my electric boats. This one is pulling 250 amps at 37V, for over 9,000 watts, well over 10HP. She weighs in at a bit under 25 lbs loaded, and my knees are shaking by the time I bring her back in.

Pretty heavy stats Kevin.
In the UserCP section, you can insert your location.
That way people can come and see your beast, if they're nearby!!

How are the temperatures after a full-on blast like the video?
Al.
Edited, I am in Canton, MA
Motor temps at 165, ESC shows on data-logging about 150. That is after a 4 minute run, which is about 80% of a full charge. I have a build thread on herehttp://forums.offshoreelectrics.com...lp-me-build-a-Sniper-45-quot&highlight=sniper if anybody cares.

I have burnt up a couple 200-240 amp ESC's in this boat, so the SF300hv may seem a bit overkill, but she seems bulletproof now.
I'm not on this forum much, and haven't run my 5ive-T in a while, but the time is coming! I spend quite a bit of time with my boats, and I have nice off-road track at my house, we run mainly 1/8-1/10 scale electric. I get a link up to my track vids.......

Well my friend, you can either start building, or start searching the forums for something already built that somebody is selling, and willing to ship to you! The 3 places I'd be looking for either build components or the for sale forums are....
http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/forum.php (click on OSE Parts button at the top to see the store, that's where almost all my build stuff comes from)
http://www.keithbradleyboats.com/ (Great store and also has a forum with a for sale section, Kieth also build boats for people, and has built some of the fastest boats out there)

http://kintecracing.com/ (store only, this is where I got the carbon kevlar cloth for the inlay)

I'm glad some of you are taking an interest in this! FE(Fast Electric) boats are a ton of fun, especially(but not limited to) the big ones!

I have a few other boats, but none of them really qualify as "large scale", so I'll leave them out of this. If you search those 2 forums, though, you will come across some SERIOUS boats that are well above and beyond mine(this was my first build from a bare hull). Some of these boats are as big as 72" or so, and some are breaking the 100mph barrier with ease!
