demon 2 speed

Was using my MT I have a demon 2 speed in it when it just stopped moving.after inspection I found the clutch bell gear and the gear it meshes with are stuck tooth to tooth .it happened twice and the second time it flipped over and cracked my body.i see a little slop in the clutch bell shaft so I used a shim to take the slop out.has anyone with a 2 speed have this problem?


Also what's everybody's thoughts who has a 2 speed?


I would say there ok but alot of small problems .hardware seems cheap and I use loctite and the bolts always loosen.for $300 I would want a little less of my improving of the product to make it usable.just my opinion....
 
I run 3 of demon 2 speed and I have never had a problem with any of them. When you are locktite are you using red locktite? and letting 24 to 48 hours for it to dry before you run the car again?
 
Yes I let cure a week . But I solved that problem by buying new hardware.but what pissed me off is when the gears jammed up.i shimmed the clutch bell it was ok but when or if it happens again I can see it destroying the gears.all we'll I'll run it and see what happens . usually it cost me money....lol...
 
Got a question? Got my MT running good only problem, 2spd is not shifting gears. Any ideas on what I need to check to fix problem? Thanks
