Different sort of 1/6th scale

Ran across this last week. It is the New Era Models 1/6 Savage kit.

I think it will. I have a spare Mach 427 im gonna stick in it.

Those are usually made from a Cen Genesis chassis. Those trucks are pretty weak with a nitro motor in them... I would think a Zen would destroy it!!

Right after I bought my FG a buddy of mine bought the 7.7 Nemesis :lol: I laughed every time he broke something, which was about every day!!

I almost converted my Savage with the New era kit, but I bought the FG instead. I am curious how it turns out! After all it IS a large scale!!

If you notice the large red head in the background that is a Thunder Tiger 70.That might be nice stuffed in there.

I saw that, but I thought it was a CEN .50

That TT .70 is a far superior motor, if you can get it tuned.

I have a EK4 it goes in but right now have a Ofna 21 in the EK4. Looking at the mount it may be a challange to get the 70 in the New Era chassis. Also waiting on parts for the 70.

Can you make your own mounts?

Pretty sure I could work something out. The plate the motor sits on is thick aluminum.
