Distance from motor mount hole to hole!

Hi.
I have a DBXL with these measures on the engine mount:

It is 40mm to 60mm (4cm to 6cm).

I want to know if the 5T is equal...cause?

Is that 1/2" thick?
Should be able to mount something mean to that!!

I can get that motor mount for 40euros...and there is another for the Rovan "clone" of 5T for 20€.
But i have a DBXL... so don't know if the distance from hole to hole is the same.

Anyone with a 5T can measure it? Just turn it upside down and measure...no need to take out the engine!

A brushless conversion for only 20€ or 40€ is awesome!
The baterys tray i make my own!
Then need to pay the ESC & motor, but that's another story!

I see a lot of brushless conversions to sale but all are 300€ (around that).....

ANOTHER "SAME" QUESTION is to know if the same engine 23cc of the DBXL can fit on the 5T
If that is right the measures of the 2 holes are the same...i think those measures are universal? Or depends on the size of the engine?...having to have support for each size?

-Yep... it fits. 5T brushless motor mount does fit on the DBXL with minor drill job! Best part is the price we can get them. No more 300€ for brushless conversions! lol

I can make my own batery boxes...

-Just a drill, 1 minute drilling and job done. Brushless conversion for 40€!
