I was looking at a 1/4 scale dragster but can't find any in stock. I think it would be pretty cool. Kind of pricey! I take it since I was the first to post no one has one.

Well depending on what he wants to do with it...
if he is looking to just fart around in a parking lot or shelf it and just talk about it, then yes build away!
But if your looking to run with the guys at the track I go to watch, you need a person that knows how to build these professionally, including the motor and drive train set up.

if he wants he still can build a fast one this is one i built and its not for playing in a parking lot and you don't need to be profesional you just need to stick your head to the job and do it

Oh sure i'm not saying he can't build it, but not everyone has the time nor the experience to do it themselves.
Im not a fan of the turbine motors, they just don't have the same type of power off the line, I'd rather see your dragster go with that pocket bike motor, that would be more impressive I think.

    Very neat.
What distances do you run it over? Are they 'timed' ?
What speed does it hit ?

    Interesting!!
