No it will not I have an econverted dunnruner and I used the Kershaw design conversion without the batteries. Look under my posts and you will see I ha EA a thread here on it.
 
A friend of mine wants me to Convert his Redcat DuneRunner from Gas to Electric but I'm trying to find something on the internet with possibly no luck. Need help here.
 
I have a HPI Baja 5B which I'm converting it to electric and I found a kit for it by Rovan , but I don't think I can use this for the Red Cat.
