I'm stuck and in need of a little advice.
I'm planning on replacing my current 26cc stock engine in my Losi 5ive t.
I'm looking at two choices right now.
1) the Zenoah 32cc engine
2) a 30.5cc race ported Zenoah

Now my question/s here is will there be any ill effects to fitting a 23-30cc pipe on the 32cc?
I ask as the only pipe I can find for the 32cc is almost as much as the engine itself.
And depending on the outcome of the first question what engine will be the best overall?
The 30.5 with one of the many tuned pipes currently on the market, or the 32cc with either a 23-30cc pipe or the one specifically disigned for the 32cc?

Sorry if this is a lot to ask but I don't want to sink nearly £500 into this combo and it be a pile of turd for whatever reason.

Most pipes will work the only difference is in the diameter of pipe and header flange the opening is bigger and the outlet will be bigger to
Think of it like a golf ball size piston and a baseball size piston the biger piston will need the bigger opening to get the most out of it
If you want the 32 get it any good pipe will run just not quite as good as it should then get a pipe when funds allow
Any pipe is better than stock exhaust can style muffler

Part 2 tap talk is messed up
The new 32 motor should be head and shoulders a better motor just because of the way the cylinder is made it should last and last just because the piston won't waller at the bottom of its stroke no more broken Pistons

Just a little update.
Decided to plump for the Zenoah 32cc engine and the specific 32cc bartolone pipe.
My god this combo is loud!!!
I think my neighbours may string me up if I fire it up in my back garden again.
