So I got my Race Runner all set up and running today, i mounted my little on-board video camera on it, and went for a short bash, the area was extremely rough and rutted, so on this video, its very shaky. I am looking at a way to link the full size version, its much clearer, obviously it will take a while to download.

So my initial reaction, pretty bitchen :w00t:, i have only run my Baja 1000 at the beach, so no really rough stuff. This place was about as bad as anyone would want to drive on so it was a good test.

The Runner did very well, there were a few small things that were just "new car issues" small stupid setup stuff which was easily cured, the only things that happened worth mentioning is that the front left dogbone at some point popped out, fortunately it is sort of held captive by the shock fork which is cool, It went right back in with just pulling the one upper hub carrier bolt. And lastly, I lost one of the wheel nuts, I had made sure to tighten the small set screws before hand, but I guess its just too brutal out there, I guess they need locktite as well. I think I am gonna add to my "to make" list, new wheel nuts with the knurled grippy texture like my HPI Baja wheel nuts, and although I didn't lose any, the wheel drive squares, if you do lose one, they are pretty pricey, and I think I could make them for a lot less, maybe out of 7075, still be strong, but much lighter.

Here is the video, scroll to the bottom video, more to come as well.-
