The piece of silicpme hose that came with my Jetpro pipe is deteriorating from heat, what else can be used hat will withstand heat for the exhaust? Coupler?

I’ve been using this black heater hose most often used in your typical semis. I bought it from the local NAPA. It’s a female dog to get on. I never had one melt or tear. To remove is a female dog. It usually gets fused to the header. I always end up cutting it off and installing a new piece. These are sold by the foot. I cut mine into 2 inch pieces.

I’ve also tried the silicone rubber type heater hoses, complete failure. These are soft so, they usually get torn if using a hose clamp or they just melt enough to the point it just rips open.
