im not sure, i just browsed ebay looked at the pics in auctions to see if it showed the pawl collars. the pic i posted is from a auction on ebay right now, it comes with metal pawl and the collar. prices are ranging 22 to 30 from most i see there.

this is auction of pic i posted:

looks like right now only one that shows a collar, if your not hurting for time on one, be patient, and keep looking on ebay, there will be more with the collar and cheaper closer to 22 to 25 bucks. just make sure it shows a pic of underside so you can see if theres the collar or not. you don't have to have one with the metal pawl like link, but its nice to have. you can even get the metal pawl seperately and install one later if you like. Tulare on ebay has one i think.

but without a doubt, a pullstarter with the collar will be the best investment, regardless of metal pawl or not.

np, i just know my experiences with my truck, it was on second tank, i did a rollover, it died, so i was attempting to pullstart it again, and i heard a shreeeekkkk popping noise, rope stuck and couldnt get it to recoil.

i went back to friends yard, pulled the stater off, and seen the pawl cockeyed, and once i popped it down it recoiled up. noticed the washer was bent up in a cone shape. i took out screw, flattened washer, and arm also, reinstalled, worked good off truck put back on 3rd pull did it again. thats when i found out that once that washer bends its over, new washer is only cure, short term. real solution was when i ordered a new pullstart, and luckily it had the collar, been using it now for 2 more tanks, with absolutey no problems with it.

so thats why i say, first thing, get a new pullstart with the collar around pawl.
keeps it from cocking over jamming and bending the washer.

saves alot of frustration like i had with original stater.

so in thinkin of first off upgrades, starter w/collar, and radio w/ better servos, 5755 and 7955 .

then all other stuff like towers and braces and other alloy stuff is icing on that rolling cake rocket you got,
