fg 20mm fat shock mod

ive got the 20mm fg fat shocks and ive also got the alloy 5 hole upgrade piston had these for ages i never botherd to fit them as fg sites all say you need new shock shafts with threaded top so i didnt bother but today i was bored crap on tv so i took them apart to re oil them then i thought about trying to get them to fit as i paid a fair bit for the upgade pistons and didnt realy want to spend more on 4 new shock shafts and it turned out a easy fix all i had to do is enlarge the hole the shaft goes in by 1mm them there a perfect fit and you can still use origanal shafts with e clips now the shocks work better and feel much smoother what a result sorry aint got no pics as cameras and shock oil don't mix to well :rock-on:

tried the car today for the first time since i done the shocks what a differance best handling since ive had it like a new car easly controlable and responsive and not bouncey like it was well happy well worth the trouble just wish id done it sooner[ame="http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYLntghXgRQ"]:cool2:[/ame]
