I'm new to this forum so hi to all.

I'm after some help setting up my 10 year old (converted from Leopard with beetle shell) FG Leopard race steering and suspension geometry. I
Know the geometry is dependant upon track conditions but there must be some general setting I
Can use as a starting point.
I have got the FG tool for measuring the angles.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Bud. The following is my base set up for the Leopard race that I ran for years at BRCA Nationals and club meetings.

Front
Shocks - 3000wt oil with the piston holes drilled out to 1.5mm - mounted on the top hole on the shock tower and the hole nearest the hub on the lower wishbone.
0 degree camber, 5mm to 8mm toe out
Lower wishbones fully forward, upper wishbones fully back.
2 to 3mm of washers under the steering arm ball joint.
FG touring car axle (with 2 circlip grooves) and 17mm square blocks.

Rear
Shocks - as the front but 2000wt oil.
3 degrees toe in, 3 degrees camber. Fit 2mm to 3mm of washers between the forward ball joints and the mount for antisquat.
14mm square drives

Thats it for the basics, if you have any other issues then give me a shout.

The car does feel a little more planted to the ground but still has a tendency to tip over at high speed and roll about 20 times. Brilliant fun though. Now onto setting up my other FG, A competition truck with the MAN shell. I will post this in the relevant section.
Again, thanks for the advice. Simon.

Try less camber on the rear or softer tyrs to stop it rolling. Send a pic of your truck and I'll sort you out a set up sheet for that too.
