FG Steering Servo help needed

Hi guys

I own a FG Baja 2wd and a couple of years ago the steering servo stopped working (circuit board burnt out). The servo fitted is a Hitec HS-5745MG

I recently decided thats its about time I blew the dust off it and fixed it, now the problem is is that it seems that this servo is no longer available and the prices of second hand ones are over inflated!

So what other servo options do I have open to me? I don't race it or anything like that, its just a bit of occasional fun.

I don't know that much about these so any pointers would be appreciated :)

The transmitter is a Hitec Aggressor SRX and the receiver is a Hitec HFS-03MT if this has any bearing on my choice

I use 2 Rhinos on my FG MT and 1 on my 1/5 on-road - damned good.
Don't go over-voltage (cannot use 2S LiPo on the previous model).
However ... there is a Hi Voltage 2S compatible Rhino out now.

Check out the dimensions and mounting - Rhinos are actually a little smaller than some "1/4" servos.

I am just a bit confused over the digital vs non digital servo's and didnt know if they had to be matched to the transmitter (told you I know nothing lol).

Im just using a std 6v ni-mh battery, was odd that the circuit melted on the hitec, the gears are fine!

Im sure I had a Rhino in my previous Marder (was red) and never had a problem so will look for one of these
