fg will not stay running

started it up splutters when i apply throttle then cuts out set carb back to factory settings still splutters even on full throttle then cuts out but carb bowl is full to the top ???????????

I had a similar problem with the G240RC in my on-road, as it hadn't run for a few months.
It wasn't as 'bad' as yours sounds, but I simply coaxed it to warm up, then it revved freely - perfect now.
I reckon mine was simply a few 'passages' dry/coked slightly.

Does it run at idle?
Can you 'coax' it to run slowly, for a while, or does it cut the moment you try any throttle?

yes it idle,s but sounds a bit spluttery i can build reves up but it dies. gona try a new carb m8

i would try a new plug first the insulation could be breaking down on load .. quick cheap thing to try

took plug out earthed it to the engine caseing but got no spark at first but got a shock of the metal cap that fits on top of spark plug

Is it simply a case of the plug's not making proper contact?
Some caps are different than others.

i had the same problem i changed the carb and it was fixed,
