guys, please relax... I'm now about 40 years in Rc Cars, I know about advantages and disadvantages of materials.

Do you know the original A-Arms of the V2 Dragon Hammer? I doubt it. They are about twice(!) the thickness of the V1 / DBXL
A-arms. I bet if you hit something you rip the hingepins out with ease.

And if I change my DH front to alu A-arms, I do that knowing that replacement costs are significantly higher... If that
would happen, I promise you, I won't start crying here about how expensive this is.

Btw.. my DBXL is almost all aluminium except for the A-Arms

Aluminum needs to be only placed in the right places or else it offers little to no advantages. It will only make your car heavier and will bend, and you will be more likely to break other parts.

Sorry, didn't know that I have to ask you before I buy parts. Do you attack all members here in the forum like this, if they buy or install metal parts,
where you think is not allowed? Or is it just me?

today I finally had time to start assembly. Yes, castor was opposite on the left side. :banghead:
will be interesting then, how the car handles if its correct.

the steering buckle has contact with the 2nd damper at full steering/full impact.
so I will use the sloped turnbuckles (like the red more)

Okay, turnbuckles changed.

The 2nd shock had a little play, which I cured adding an O-ring.

finished, I realized that the roll cage contacts the 2nd shock, I have to file some mils off the cage.
