Finally got back into the hobby, FG Alloy Monster rebuild, FG Monster 4x4

Hi folks,

My biggest regret was selling my full alloy marder many years ago and finally decided to get back into the hobby so picked up some trucks last year and am going through them and changing or fixing past cock ups from previous owners

Finally managed to fit a 36cc 4 bolt engine after many hours of grinding amd refitting, now it's bolted in and runs, just need to run it's 1st tank before taking it out for shake down.

Thanks Paul, it came over from Germany with a loft find truck I purchased and my partner brought it back in her suitcase

No buddy it was painted when I purchaed the truck last year, I'm guessing it wasn't a bashing shell, I don't have the time or patience for that kind of paint job, but I am doing a quick respray of my basher shell and fit lights and flying bridge etc, I do have a brand new stadium shell and spoiler I will paint in summer but probably just a simple flip paint I think keep it clean an simple

Shell needs a lot of work, previous owner put way to much paint on it and it has cracks all over

It will look smart once finished, it has a rear bumper, front roof light bar and mustang rear lights, I see items and then have ideas lol

Update on my bigfoot basher shell


Now it's been sprayed just needs clear coat, bumper has been cleared.
