so ive been trying to set up a pay-pal.. sometimes im just not so savvy with this stuff. this is were im stuck: i got my pay-pal account, did the e-mail confermation and what not. now, when i logg into my home page it says "unverified"... now i signed up useing a prepaid secured "green dot visa".. it all went thru, they took the dollor out of my account, but it still says "unverified" under my login info.. when i click on "unverified" it sends me straight to a page to fill out some banking info. it asks for routing numbers and checking or savings info as well.. i don't want to put that stuff in. thats were i keep my martgage payments and other important funds. do i have to put that stuff in? not sure what to do now.. help!!

I hate pay-pal, as many other's do!

I use my credit card on a secure site or send a money order or bank draft.

I think it takes a week or so for the pay-pal account to be totally set up. Don't sweat it.

Your good now to use pay pal,no need to give your bank info..just make sure your mailing address is the same a billing address on your card you use for pay pal..By the way pay pal is owened by e-bay..If you have problem when you bought some thingand want your money back ..your screwed..unless bought from e-bay..there new policy rules....Hope this helps..
Better off to use just 1 credit card to by your RC stuff..AKA Slawhammer

Verification is mostly done for the buyer to feel more comfortable with the seller. In reality anyone with a credit card or someone else's card can try opening an account and be a seller. If one becomes verified then the seller is more likely legit since Papal will deposit a small amount and ask you details on that deposit as to verify that you are the person with the checking or savings.
It does not need to be done but some buyers will make decisions on that if you are a new seller. As your score goes up it is less likely an issue.
