Yes there is mate,I was wondering this myself and came up with this idea.A four stroke out of a lawn mower.Suffolk punch or colt.You can get them in alloy case and they weigh not much more than a Zen.

It would be cool. I don't know how much rpm's those engines would produce. I would probably have to be geared accordingly.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJDJ6&P=0 they also have a 25.4cc. pretty wimpy looking power numbers though, 2hp and 1.44ft/lb torque, and maxes out at 7500rpm. however, it looks like the motor has a govoner, so removing that might help out some, and im sure some porting, stiffer valve springs, ect. would help it. if not, run it on 50% nitro, it'll wake up.

yea maybe a 4 valve head would give more power. seen a 4stroke traxxas revo on utube a while ago sounded awsome. is it true 2stokes are banned in some u,s states due to the emisions law ???

2 stroke will still beat it. There's nothing like a 2 stroke for spooling up fast. Use a synthetic low smoke oil and the tree huggers won't even notice. LOL
