front alloy uprights

i wanted to change the plastic front uprights on my carson gas blaster (super attack) as i have managed to overtighten one of the bolts and wrecked the thread in it so it keeps turning and not tightening. i have seen some fg marder alloy ones on ebay will these fit the super attack they look the same only difference is they don't appear to have turning stops on them where the carson plastic items do? anyone tried this before?

Isn't the carson the same as the duratrax firehammer?If it is look here,FG parts that will/willnot work on the Hammer

On the standard plastic uprights, the turning stops are only on the offroad models if I remember right???? It doesn't makes any difference whether they are there or not tho cos you set the travel on your servo endpoints.
