After straying from RC for some time I picked up the FS Racing BAJA Buggy and am wrapted. Was a cheap unit and with a good set of servos and decent radio gear is great fun to drive.

My question is where are the guys in Australia getting their spares from????? I got the car from Auction City but they don't seem to carry to a huge range of parts like wheels and gears. I placed a small order for some other parts on th FS au site and haven't heard back from them as yet.

I don't mind ordering from O/Seas but would rather support a good local supplier.

My understanding is that Auctioncity, Oversizerc and the Australian FS site(not sure of the FS site name) are all operated by the same bloke....I have also heard that the service from these sites is not great.

I was lucky to win a FS king kong 2wd truck for myself from revhedzrchobbies . $609 AU delivered. Not a bad unit. I got a tuned pipe from oversized rc and it goes well. I did replace the wheel bearings with some better ones . The original are a bit weak as you can feel the slop when you turn them. i added the second steering servo which made it a bit tighter.I also added a better air filter, and off i went. I was impressed with the quality compared to my son's bigfoot clone. I will set the suspension and steering arms tomorrow and then i'm done. I also lowered the centre by repositioning the shocks. Handles a lot better being closer to the ground. I don't have a problem with oversized rc service. i guess it helps only being 15 min from the shop.
